Job Opportunity: Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our production team at our facility in Saskatoon, SK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating a variety of steel products with minimal supervision. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and execute drawings and specifications with precision and accuracy.
  • Fabricate steel products using various techniques and tools, including oxy fuel cutting torches and grinders.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure adherence to industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in metal fabrication, preferably with custom heavy structural steel projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, as well as operate shop tools and equipment.
  • Provincially indentured apprentices or Journeyperson Certificate in a related trade.
  • Understanding of welding procedures and CWB certification is considered an asset.
