Building Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our base area buildings and outdoor areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete maintenance service requests as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Create and complete work orders for every job/task, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Maintain inventory controls to optimize cost-effective operations and minimize waste.
  • Perform daily checks, preventative maintenance work orders, and maintenance records to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain all building systems, including pools and hot tubs, to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Complete groundswork as directed, including landscaping and snow removal.
  • Alert the maintenance manager of any unusual occurrences, damage, or risks to ensure prompt attention and resolution.
  • Adhere to RCR policies, Employee Handbook guidelines, and Safety Management Program to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as requested by management.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and tradesman certification an asset.
  • Pools Tech certification an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role an asset.
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and/or extended periods of exertion required.
