Graduate BIM Designer

We're looking for a Graduate BIM Designer to join our team. As a Graduate BIM Designer, you will be responsible for preparing and developing architectural, civil and engineering drawings, models, sketches, and other documents within a Building Information Modelling (BIM) focused environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing and developing architectural, civil and engineering drawings, models, sketches, and other documents within a BIM focused environment
- Help manage in-coming and out-going model and drawing information
- Co-ordinating work with other disciplines
- Troubleshoot problems that arise in a rapidly changing project environment
- Working directly with engineering colleagues and other professionals
- Ensure accurate Quality Assurance/Quality Control protocols are implemented
- Develop software skills necessary to be successful in their project assignments
- Project and team administrative duties
- Supports senior BIM Designers on projects and office-wide BIM initiatives
- Seek creative and innovative solutions
- Be responsible for high quality work
- Proactively engage with the project team and respond to project deadlines
- Actively listens and communicates with colleagues
- Have appetite for self-development and learning
- Be enthusiastic and collaborative
- Have a high level of self-motivation, initiative, and curiosity

Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering/architectural technology or related field
- Experience in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Experience in Microstation and/or Civil 3D
- Knowledge of coordination tools: Navisworks, Revisto
- Knowledge of collaboration tools: ACC, SharePoint, ProjectWise
- Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
Preferred qualifications:
- Certificate in BIM Management will be an asset
- Design portfolio will be an asset
- Knowledge in Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, and other programming tool is an asset
- Knowledge of Digital Projects, Tekla
- Knowledge of Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads
- Knowledge of ISO19650
- Previous experience in the AEC industry
