About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Funeral Service Coordinator at Park Lawn Corporation. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support during their time of need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Interaction: Provide personalized attention and support to client families, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Funeral Service Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of funeral services, including coordinating with vendors and ensuring all details are in place.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, staff, and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to ensure that all aspects of funeral services are handled with professionalism and care.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, such as data entry, record-keeping, and reporting, to support the smooth operation of our funeral home.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., funeral service, hospitality) preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the funeral industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interactions with clients and staff. You will be required to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs.
