Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking an Inventory and Logistics Analyst.

Responsible for mining data to identify opportunities for improvements, completing analysis, and working to resolutions. The Inventory and Logistics Analyst will be a self-starter, who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. The primary language of work is English. Qualifications:

· Education: Academically qualified with a recognized university bachelor's or graduate degree

· Experience: 2-5 years' experience in a related area

· Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills

· MRP/ERM experience would be considered an asset.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc)

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze business trends.

· Design and support implementation of end-to-end operational models.

· Lead problem solving activities from identification, analysis through to resolution.

· Lead or support improvement projects within the Materials Management team.

· Improve deficiencies in processes and utilize lean methodologies.
