What you'll do

The Purchasing Coordinator will actively contribute to the success of the objectives of the Franchise Division's purchasing department by completing:

  • With the help of the manager, the organization and management of virtual and/or physical procurement presentations
  • The publication of memos for the department and for procurement presentations
  • Delivery tracking and verification of products and advertised prices
  • Assistance and administrative support in the elaboration/production of team projects

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager - Procurement Presentation and Product Management, the Purchasing Coordinator will work closely with the Purchasing, Marketing, Distribution Center, and Business Intelligence teams

What you bring

  • Post-secondary education in business administration or commerce, a relevant asset or experience (1-3 years) or be a recent graduate with good communication skills and be able to assimilate the subject matter quickly
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • Work with minimal supervision and have leadership skills
  • Be able to work on more than one project at a time
  • Very good organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize workload
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of AS400, AX, and BSWP (an asset)
  • Good collaboration with other departments (Marketing, Distribution Centre, and Business Intelligence)
