Senior Accounts Payable Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Manager to lead our Accounts Payable team and drive process improvements. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, and other financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management
- Provide guidance and oversight to the AP team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.
- Process Improvement and Optimization
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations to enhance the AP function.
- Implement changes to AP processes and procedures to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Financial Transaction Management
- Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, and other financial transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and other financial obligations.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with AP processes and transactions.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including finance, procurement, and operations teams.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including vendors and auditors.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with a focus on process improvement and leadership.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
