Warehouse Material Handler

Join Novolex, a leader in packaging innovation, choice and sustainability, as a Warehouse Material Handler. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, coordinating shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of materials, process bills of lading, and verify inventory levels
  • Perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory
  • Operate forklift as needed to assist with picking and loading activities
  • Perform Material Handler tasks as required, including disposal of expired or rejected/damaged materials
  • Assign incomplete orders to material handlers for completion
  • Conduct daily audits of shipping and filing reports
  • Lift and move products, parts, and boxes as needed
  • Assist in the selection, training, and motivation of warehouse personnel
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to 5S principles
  • Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to company safety and quality policies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in email and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Knowledge of RF scanners and forklift operation
  • Certified forklift driver with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
