Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring computerized building control systems, maintaining facility and plant systems, and performing major repairs and installations on complex building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor computerized building control systems
  • Maintain facility and plant systems and equipment
  • Perform major repairs and installations on complex building systems and equipment
  • Work independently to complete tasks and projects
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Building Systems Technician certificate
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate
  • 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate
  • Refrigeration certificate (where required)
  • Pool Operator certificate (where required)
Competencies
  • Basic - Communication skills
  • Intermediate - Computer skills
  • Basic - Organizational skills
  • Basic - Interpersonal skills
Knowledge and Abilities
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently
Working Conditions
  • No guaranteed hours of work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
