Job Summary: Human Resources Generalist responsible for administering employee-related services, maintaining a positive employee relations environment, and ensuring timely communication between HR and other departments.

About the Role

As a Human Resources Generalist at Magna, you will be responsible for a wide range of employee-related services, including recruitment, new employee orientation, and employee relations. You will work closely with other departments to ensure timely communication and resolution of HR actions.

Your Responsibilities
  • Administer all phases of hourly recruitment, including temporary employees
  • Develop and maintain selected policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and manage hourly performance appraisals
  • Administer all new hires in the HRIS and Time and Attendance System
  • Maintain employee databases and filing systems
  • Ensure adherence to the Collective Bargaining Agreement and departmental Key Objectives
  • Follow all guidelines in accordance with ISO-14001, ISO9000, IATF 16949, and Customer Specific Requirements
Requirements
  • College Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent in training
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Human Resources Department
  • Designation in Human Resources (CHRP) is an asset
  • Personal computer experience using Microsoft Word, Excel is required
  • Strong customer focus and ability to effectively build relationships
  • Results-driven and able to decipher information and develop concise solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
