About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Seasonal Customer Experience Representative. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the daily operations of the store, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts, replenish stock, and manage product returns to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing store
  • Use merchandising standards to create an inviting and stimulating store environment
  • Engage with customers, leveraging our products to tell stories and create memorable experiences
  • Curate product collections for each customer, providing personalized recommendations
  • Role model Indigo's High Performance Characteristics, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, promotions, and programs, sharing knowledge with colleagues and customers
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment, actively participating in health and safety initiatives
  • Respond to customer feedback in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment is preferred but not required
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new things and be exposed to all aspects of the store
  • Demonstrated commitment to creating an exceptional employee and customer experience
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnights, and early mornings (if required for the role)
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required for all positions in Québec; other languages are an asset
