About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Expert to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our Planet-Friendly team, you will play a critical role in advancing our sustainability goals and driving positive change in our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tactical Project Management: You will lead the development and implementation of projects that support our Thriving Community pillar, focusing on initiatives such as food waste reduction, volunteering, and community development.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: You will work closely with our sustainability governance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of our sustainability progress, using data to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Operationalization of CSR: You will support the communication strategy for our sustainability initiatives, working with internal and external stakeholders to develop impactful messaging and amplify our sustainability progress.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a relevant field, such as sustainability, environmental science, or business.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in sustainability, with a strong background in project management, data analysis, and communication.
  • Skills: Excellent project management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
