Seeking a Product Advisor to provide exceptional customer service, promote new business, and sell new and pre-owned vehicles at OpenRoad Honda.

As a Product Advisor, you will:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by determining each prospective client's vehicle needs
  • Promote new business and contribute to the company's customer base
  • Sell new and pre-owned vehicles, and demonstrate vehicles (includes test drives)
  • Understand the terminology of the automobile business and stay up-to-date on technological changes
  • Be thoroughly familiar with all products, including features, specifications, prices, colours, options, and standard equipment
  • Use closing techniques effectively and ask for help from management when necessary
  • Deliver new and pre-owned vehicles to customers and ensure they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
  • Introduce customers to Service Department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations
  • Set goals for each month's productivity and plan and organize how to reach those objectives
  • Follow all dealership processes and procedures to ensure an excellent Customer Satisfaction Index rating
  • Attend department meetings as required
  • Follow company safety policies and practices

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with others
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong computer skills (internet & MS Office) and ability to maintain records using a computerized system
  • Effective negotiation skills and ability to make sound decisions
  • A Current OMVIC License
  • A valid Ontario Driver's License with a good driving record
