The Opportunity

As a Budtender, you will be responsible for delivering a superior customer experience through information, exceptional service, and the highest quality cannabis. You will be the face of our store, ensuring that every customer feels welcome and valued.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist all customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints, or concerns with professionalism and courtesy
  • Stay up-to-date on offers and specials to provide customers with the best possible experience
  • Respond to customer inquiries with comprehensive knowledge and accuracy
  • Receive and document inventory accurately to ensure seamless operations
  • Process and file customer paperwork with all provided information
  • Maintain sales goals on a daily and weekly basis to drive store success
  • Closing and completing all end-of-day reports and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Prevent cannabis sales to anyone under the age of 19 by reviewing government-issued photo identification
  • Foster a sense of teamwork with all team members to create a positive and inclusive store environment
  • Adhere to and uphold our Loss Prevention policies and procedures to ensure store security
  • Observe for signs of crime or disorder and communicate any disturbances to management
  • Greet all guests promptly and provide clear and articulate information in an engaging manner
  • Know all safety and security protocols, should they be needed
  • Ensure the store is clean and tidy at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Experience
  • Previous retail or customer service experience; cannabis sales experience preferred
  • Be at least 19 years of age
  • Polished professional with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Works well with others, alone, and with little supervision
  • Knowledge of/ability to learn about cannabis plants, strains, and products
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and charisma
  • Ensure a high level of customer interaction, suggestive selling, and enthusiasm
  • Energetic and highly determined
  • Working knowledge of Retail Cannabis an asset
  • Proficiency in MS office products and POS (cashier)
  • Comfortable working variable shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Comfortable lifting and unpacking boxes that may weigh 5-30 lbs
  • Bonus points if you've worked in a regulated environment before
