Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to clients in the community, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent nursing services, including administration of prescribed treatments and leadership within the healthcare team.
  • Facilitate coordination of client care and discharge, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines, applying this knowledge to improve client outcomes and quality of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably in community health nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to prioritize care, delegate tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CNA Community Health Nurses Certification or relevant applicable certification.
  • Additional wound care and chronic disease management education.
  • Experience working with Indigenous populations and knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions, and values.
