Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Desk Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our front-end operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and upholding our company values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Represent company values to the public, ensuring a positive brand image and customer experience.
  • Maintain security in front-end operations, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Process refunds, exchanges, and returns accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist customers with information and directions, ensuring a smooth shopping experience.
  • Verify and process sales tax exempt records, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure all damaged merchandise is sent to Claims for processing, minimizing losses and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information.
