About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estate and Trust Lead to join our team at MD Signature Private Wealth in Quebec. As a key member of our Wealth Strategy Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional estate and trust planning solutions to our most affluent clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust estate and trust planning offering that meets the needs of our high-net-worth clients.
  • Collaborate with our Financial Planning, Tax, and Insurance teams to ensure seamless integration of estate and trust planning solutions with other client services.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to our advisors, financial planners, and specialists on estate and trust planning matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in estate, trust, and tax legislation to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external legal firms, professional tax and accounting service providers, and other stakeholders to promote our advanced estate and trust planning capabilities.
Requirements
  • Member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec or the Quebec Bar association.
  • Proven experience in the estate and trust industry, including the regulatory environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of estate and trust law, including related Quebec Civil law.
  • Dynamic written and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Fluency in both French and English is required.
