Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Self-Checkout Attendant to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized self-service area, ensuring a safe and efficient shopping environment for customers.
  • Assist customers with processing transactions through the self-service area, providing clear instructions and support as needed.
  • Promote company-sponsored programs and services, such as credit card services and product protection initiatives.
  • Monitor customer activity and provide assistance when needed, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Respond to EAS alarms and complete necessary documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of our retail team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point of sale system.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
