Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and grow Jr. Superintendents
- Review and approve labor rates
- Manage contract administration and communicate with subcontractors
- Develop and maintain good client relations
- Oversee and approve job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
- Review and negotiate change orders
- Develop and implement project completion and turnover plans
- Maintain daily diaries for record keeping
- Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports
- Recommend organizational, policy, and procedural changes
- Approve or reject promotions to General Foremen
Requirements:
- 6+ years' construction experience with 1+ years in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity
- Self-starter with minimal supervision
- Ability to learn Kiewit's policies, procedures, and software programs
- Problem-solving, leadership, safety, negotiation, planning, and contract administration skills
- Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
Other Requirements:
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Meet deadlines timely and work productively
- Communicate and interact effectively with supervisors, employees, and others
- Perform work safely and effectively
- Work during normal operating hours and overtime as required
