Student Service Desk Technician: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

We're looking for a Student Service Desk Technician to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for ensuring proper information technology operation, providing first contact support, and resolving end-user issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first contact support via telephone, web portal, email, and chat to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues.
  • Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet defined SLAs.
  • Escalate incidents with accurate documentation to suitable technician, when required.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
  • Test fixes to ensure an incident has been adequately resolved.
  • Alert management to emerging trends in incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of basic PC computer hardware.
  • Experience with MS-Windows 10 desktop and server operating systems.
