About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sea Logistics Operational Care Team Lead to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel. Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support your team in delivering an exceptional customer experience by overseeing daily activities and resolving operational issues.
  • Act as first-level support and lead new and existing staff on operational procedures and standards.
  • Work closely with the OCC CS to notify in case of holds, delays, and deviations.
  • Provide support to the GSC Team for missing information/details.
  • Lead operational staff with day-to-day operations and act as first-level escalation for problem-solving.
  • Ensure compliance with internal working instructions and identify problems in processes/systems.
  • Conduct BP audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot customs and SSL line holds, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.
  • Onboard new talent to the team by ensuring they are confident to perform within the role.
  • Monitor reports on a daily basis for missing events, E-documents, and dispatch/pick-up of containers.
  • Review notice of arrival documents to ensure compliance with Canadian legislation.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with all regulations pertaining to pharmaceutical and dangerous goods products.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with the Code of Conduct.
About You
  • You have a degree in supply chain management or a similar field.
  • You have +3 years' experience in the freight forwarding, supply chain, logistics, and transportation industry.
  • You have managerial experience of an operational department.
  • You are certified in CIFFA, CITT, or equivalent.
  • You have advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft 365.
