You as a Housekeeping Aide will:

  • Be responsible for cleaning activities to ensure a clean and germ free environment;
  • ensuring cleanliness of furniture, fixtures and equipment;
  • collection of garbage/waste for pickup and disposal;
  • replenishing of stock and supplies, and the securing and maintaining tools/equipment used to perform the day to day work. Is this the right role for you?
    • Secondary high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
    • Clear understanding of the English language; both written and spoken.
    • Experience dealing with the public is required.
    • Previous cleaning experience is desirable, as is familiarity with WHMIS, and PIDAC Routine Practices.
    • Ability to use tools and equipment common to the work being performed.
