We are looking for a AZ Driver to join our team in Simcoe County.

Major (Primary) Responsibilities

  • Complete proper pre/post operation circle checks
  • Always operate truck in a safe and legal manner obeying all traffic laws, hours of service and load restrictions
  • Responsible for delivery of aggregate material to various job sites and/or customers
  • Ensure truck and trailers are maintained on a weekly basis including greasing
  • Perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues;
  • Work with construction supervisors when on a job site
  • Always use company mandated safety equipment
  • Ensure all company required paperwork is completed accurately and submitted daily
  • Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture;
  • Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others;
  • Be a representative of Walker Industries to customers as a front-line worker.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating a Triaxle with Pony Pup.
  • AZ License Required
  • Experience within the road construction industry.
  • Some mechanical knowledge.
  • Knowledge of road construction materials, road construction processes and industry requirements.
