We are seeking a Part-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at The Madison Care Centre in Coquitlam, B.C.

Summary: We are looking for a skilled maintenance professional to provide high-quality maintenance services to our residents and staff.

The Madison Care Centre is a licensed and funded residential care facility that offers a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain equipment, alarm, call, and security systems daily.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensure the safety of the building, equipment, staff, and residents.
  • Perform general repairs to electrical, plumbing, and other building components.

Requirements:

  • Experience in building or facility maintenance.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move furniture.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine Passport.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to maintain a checklist record of maintenance routines.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Must be physically fit, adaptable, and an effective team member.
