Seeking a Clinical Practice Support & Standardization Specialist to lead the transformation of evidence into practice and decrease variation in care standards within the Provincial Clinical Networks team.

Clinical Practice Support & Standardization Specialists are responsible for performing various key functions within the Clinical Standards portfolio. As part of the Provincial Clinical Networks team, the Specialist will assist in transforming evidence into practice and decrease variation in care standards by leading SHA practice support processes (such as pathways, clinical standards and procedures, order sets, medical directives, advanced practices, communities of practice, patient education, clinical forms, and protocols).

The Specialist uses expertise in professional practice principles to assess and provide consultation on professional practice issues such as scopes of practice and models of care, particularly during innovations, in collaboration with professional practice managers and senior leaders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Employing implementation science methods to assess practice change plans
  • Strengthening Provincial Clinical Network projects by embedding evidence-based implementation strategies into initiatives for feasibility, viability, and sustained positive practice change

Requirements:

  • Experience in a senior clinical and/or corporate role
  • 3-5 years recent experience in project management, quality improvement, facilitation

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in professional clinical field

Licenses:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
