Environmental and Regulatory Student

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental and Regulatory Student to join our Kearl Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to our Environmental and Regulatory Advisors in managing environmental monitoring and emergency response programs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the management of environmental monitoring and emergency response programs
- Support environmental initiatives and internal/external reporting
- Collaborate with the Kearl E&R and EP&R Advisors to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Currently enrolled in a relevant science, engineering, or technology program at a post-secondary institution
- Excellent communication and technical skills, with proficiency in Excel, OneNote, and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and travel to Kearl as needed
- Indigenous candidates, particularly those from the Wood Buffalo Region, are encouraged to apply
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight
