The təməsew̓txw Aquatic and Community Centre is a 10,644 square metre facility opening Spring 2024. This state of the art dual natatorium facility will be the first in Canada designed to achieve the Canadian Green Building Council Zero Carbon Building standard, LEED Gold standards and the first aquatic centre in North America to use a new innovative InBlue drum filtration system. The New Westminster Fitness Department has an opportunity for energetic self-starters to join its dynamic team of aquatic and fitness leaders. This position will instruct aquatic fitness classes to meet the diverse needs of customers at our pools. Under the supervision of the Fitness Leadership team, the successful candidate will instruct classes based on program requirements. Applicants will enjoy working in a fast paced environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
