Role Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Parent-Infant Therapist to join our team at Mothercraft. As a Level 7 therapist, you will be responsible for providing home and center-based early intervention services to infants and young children with pre-natal substance exposure. Your role will involve working closely with families facing biological and psychosocial risks due to parental substance use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with parents and infants/young children to promote healthy child development.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individual service plans in collaboration with parents.
  • Deliver early intervention services to support child development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and liaise with other professionals and agencies.
  • Facilitate groups for parents and children when needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with children and families in high-risk environments.
  • Membership in a recognized College.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and family systems.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
