Clinical Psychologist III

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist III to join our team at NL Health Services. This is a specialized clinical position in which the incumbent is responsible for the provision of inpatient psychological services for the Harbour Grace Adult Addictions Treatment Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessment, formulation of DSM-5 diagnoses and therapeutic intervention, on an individual and group basis, to treat adults with addictions who have been admitted to the Centre for addiction treatment.
- Apply psychological knowledge and principles in clinical practices related to crisis management, suicide risk assessment and substance related and addictive disorders.
- Provide clinical direction and consultation to interdisciplinary teams and participate in educational, administrative and research activities.
- Graduation with an approved/recognized Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology is required.
- Registration or provisional registration with Newfoundland and Labrador Psychology Board is required.
- Graduate course work and supervised experience in mental health and addictions is required.
- Clinical experience in the provision of comprehensive psychological assessment and therapy to individuals, families and groups is required.
