**Server Support Analyst** A highly skilled professional is required to lead the strategic planning, technology progression, and operational support of ATCO's Windows Server environment.

**Job Description:**

The Server Support Analyst is a key member of the Technology and Global Security business unit, responsible for delivering inspired solutions for a better world. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a delivery team.

**Key Responsibilities:** * Evaluate ATCO's current state Windows server technology against evolving industry technology and best practices * Provide day-to-day operational support of the Windows Server environment, including technology progression, break-fix support, patching, and participation in projects * Execute changes, including after-hours and on weekends as required * Participate in on-call 24x7x365 support as part of a rotation with the delivery team * Work with business support resources and business units to maintain awareness of current and long-term business requirements for Windows Server technology and support * Assist in the development and maintenance of a multi-year roadmap for the progression of Windows Server technology * Initiate and oversee the execution of projects required to achieve the objectives of the annual technology plan * Stay current on industry trends, process improvement methodologies, and Windows Server best practices * Work with ATCO Service Management team to ensure Windows Server management complies with ATCO ITIL standards and processes * Review infrastructure and application disaster recovery execution plans for completeness of vision and ability to meet required RTOs and RPOs **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Information Technology * ITIL and storage vendor training and certifications * 7 to 10 years of experience in ITIL, MCSE certification * Experience implementing and maintaining Windows Server systems, including configuring security, network, and storage in alignment with best practices * Experience operating in an ITIL environment in adherence to ITIL processes * Experience with CMDB, including updating data and leveraging data for operational awareness, support, and planning * Thorough understanding of current and past Windows Server operating systems levels, including installation, configuration, and maintenance * Experience working with server hardware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance in a controlled data center environment * Expert knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy, including installation, configuration, and management * Expert knowledge of VMWare, including implementation, management, and support * Experience with network administration, including troubleshooting and maintenance * Programming/scripting experience with PowerShell * Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to effectively and professionally communicate verbally and in writing * Ability to recognize technical and functional gaps and opportunities within the organization **What We Offer:** * A culture based on caring, integrity, agility, collaboration, and striving for excellence * Competitive compensation * Flex benefits * Tuition assistance program * Training and mentorship programs * Charitable donation matching
