Seeking a licensed optician with management experience to lead a team of eyecare consultants, delivering exceptional customer service and upholding Specsavers standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Role Overview As a leading supervisor, you will partner closely with the store's retail owner to manage a team of Eyecare Consultants, delivering an outstanding customer journey end-to-end. You will be responsible for overseeing, coaching, and developing team members on all aspects of product selection, sales techniques, problem solving, and service standards. Key Responsibilities • Manage store employee performance through coaching and counseling • Supervise and train employees to ensure excellent customer service and uphold Specsavers standards • Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and maintained in accordance with Specsavers standards • Train new employees on store policies, procedures, and operational practices • Champion the Specsavers brand and values Qualifications, Skills, and Experience • Licensed Optician • Previous optical management experience • Demonstrated history of exceptional customer care in retail management • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve excellent technical standards • Experience managing store operations and optimizing business performance • Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate orders and dispenses • Experience analyzing management reports and managing day-to-day store operations Benefits • 3 weeks' vacation, 6 sick days, 1 paid volunteer day, and birthday off • 2 free pairs of glasses annually, discounted rates for additional Specsavers products • Access to internal app for easy connection with colleagues, training modules, and rewards • Opportunities for career advancement with professional development plan • Competitive pay, training, and career growth opportunities as Specsavers expands in Canada
