Cardiology Associate Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Physician to join our Cardiology team at Fraser Health Authority. As an Associate Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Job Summary:The Associate Physician will work under the supervision of the ward attending cardiologist and will be accountable to the Local Department Head of Cardiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in patient rounds, writing medical orders, and documenting patient information. They will also be expected to develop treatment plans, follow up on investigations, and communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:- Participate in patient rounds and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
- Write medical orders and document patient information in accordance with organizational standards.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with attending staff.
- Follow up on investigations and communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to the improvement of patient care.
The successful candidate will possess a medical degree from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and a minimum of two years of accredited postgraduate training as a medical or surgical specialist. They will also be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia in the Associate Physician class.
