Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Southern Health-Santé Sud. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the health and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and maintain competency congruent with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and Code of Ethics.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use an analytical and inquiring approach to problem-solving.
