We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Virtual Triage Specialist. As a key member of our telehealth team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient-Centered Care: Utilize your clinical expertise to assess patient needs, provide timely and accurate care, and make informed decisions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams through clear and empathetic communication.
- Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, while also working independently to manage your caseload and prioritize tasks.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain current with best practices and industry standards.
- Registered Nurse in Good Standing: Possess a valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Bilingual (French and English): Demonstrate proficiency in both languages to effectively communicate with patients and families.
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a related field, such as triage, ER, mental health, or acute care.
- Strong Assessment and Communication Skills: Possess excellent listening and assessment skills, with the ability to remain calm and empathetic in stressful situations.
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as required by SE Health.
