Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused General Merchandise Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a General Merchandise Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and clean store environment, and supporting the sales floor operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe and clean store environment by adhering to company policies and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
  • Support the sales floor operations by covering assigned areas, zoning merchandise, and assisting with stocking and recovery of merchandise.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure floor coverage is maintained and tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store culture by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and kindness.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.
