Job Summary

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental program, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting oral health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Clinical Services: Provide dental care and treatment to patients, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Preventative Care: Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices, promoting healthy habits and preventing dental issues.
  • Oral Health Promotion: Develop and implement programs to promote oral health awareness and education within the community.
Requirements
  • Education: Dental Assistant certificate
  • Licenses: National Dental Assisting Examining Board Certificate (NDAEB), Valid Class 5 driver's license, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
  • Competencies: Basic - Communication skills, Basic - Interpersonal skills, Basic - Computer skills
  • Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to work independently
