Bar Porter Job Opportunity at Niagara Casinos

We are seeking a skilled Bar Porter to join our team at Niagara Casinos. This is a fixed-term contract position with a competitive hourly rate of $17.84.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service by recognizing and anticipating guest needs
  • Take and serve guest beverage orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Set up bars with juices, garnishes, mats, and glassware
  • Stock and maintain bars, empty garbage, clean floors and refrigerators, and wash glassware
  • Work safely and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Lifting up to lbs; pushing and pulling weight up to 60 lbs repetitively throughout your shift
  • Work as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels
  • Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation - working primarily midnights (2am to 10:30am shift)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a high volume customer service role
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Smart Serve certification
  • The ability to successfully pass physical preplacement assessment
