About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Partner to join our team at Beiersdorf. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our Sales and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Partnership: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions and optimize financial performance.
  • Trade Agreement Management: Analyze and evaluate annual trade agreements, and work with sales teams to negotiate and manage trade budgets.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Partner with Sales and Marketing to build company plans and financial forecasts, and track performance at the brand and customer dimensions.
  • Net Sales Price Optimization: Identify opportunities to drive efficiency through Net Sales Price optimization, using levers such as promotion evaluation and trade spend management.
  • Business Insights and Analysis: Provide insightful analysis of business results to Sales and Marketing Management, and perform ad-hoc analyses to drive problem-solving and business improvement recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the RGM team to optimize promotions and pricing, and represent finance in discussions on launches, relaunches, and assortment management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Commerce or related field, with CPA/MBA in Finance or related field highly desirable.
  • Experience: +7 years of Finance or similar FMCG experience, with proven experience in business partnering and relationship building.
  • Skills: Strong business analytics skills, ability to multitask and work under pressure, and strong system skills including SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and BI systems.
  • Language: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbally.
