Seeking a Scheduler to create and manage schedules for security personnel in Surrey, BC, ensuring optimal coverage and service levels for clients.

As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining schedules for security personnel based on client needs and availability.
  • Monitoring and adjusting schedules in real-time to address staffing changes, absences, and coverage gaps.
  • Communicating effectively with security staff regarding their shifts, duties, and any changes to the schedule.
  • Coordinating with management to ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Utilizing scheduling software to track hours, manage overtime, and ensure accurate timekeeping.
  • Responding to scheduling inquiries and issues promptly to maintain high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Maintaining organized records of schedules, staff availability, and client requirements.
  • Assisting in training new staff on scheduling protocols and company policies, as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in business administration or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in scheduling, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
