Rattaché au directeur financier, l’analyste financière sera chargé de l'analyse et le suivi des écarts pour toutes les unités commerciales de l'organisation. Il réalise des analyses et des études financières et il élabore et alimente les tableaux de bord financiers.


Principales tâches et responsabilités

  • Effectuer une analyse financière détaillée mensuelle, y compris la modélisation financière avancée et la surveillance des résultats de vente et donner un aperçu des causes profondes de tout problème sous-jacent;
  • Effectuer des analyses détaillées des principaux comptes du grand livre sur une base mensuelle;
  • Travailler avec l'équipe sur les prévisions financières, les prévisions de trésorerie, l'analyse de rentabilité et toute autre analyse requise dans notre entreprise en pleine croissance;
  • Participer à plusieurs aspects du processus de clôture de la période et de l'exercice, tels que le rapprochement de comptes du grand livre et la comptabilisation d’écritures de journal,
  • Travailler avec le directeur des finances pour s'assurer que toutes les procédures et analyses de fin de mois nécessaires ont été effectuées en temps opportun;
  • Fournir un soutien pour l'automatisation et l'application de nouvelles initiatives;
  • Mettre en place et analyser différents indicateurs de performance et prendre les mesures nécessaires auprès des managers concernés ;
  • Fournir un soutien dans la préparation des budgets et des projections financières;
  • Travailler avec les chefs d'équipe pour analyser les résultats financiers mensuels et fournir des analyses pour déterminer l'exactitude et l'intégrité des informations financières et communiquer efficacement les résultats;
  • Maximiser l'utilisation de la technologie pour assurer la simplification et l'amélioration des processus;
  • Participer à d'autres projets si nécessaire.


Qualifications requises

Formation

  • Détenir un baccalauréat en comptabilité ou en finance;
  • Un titre professionnel en comptabilité ou en finance est un atout.

Expérience

  • Analyse financière : Minimum 3 ans (obligatoire);
  • Bonne connaissance d'Excel requise;
  • Posséder de l’expérience au sein d’une entreprise familiale (un atout);
  • Maîtriser la suite Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Solides compétences en analyse et en résolution de problèmes, en raisonnement critique;
  • Initiative éprouvée et approches créatives à la résolution de problèmes avec un désir d'apprendre;
  • Solides compétences interpersonnelles, esprit d'équipe et capacité à interagir efficacement au niveau opérationnel;

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and tracking variances for all business units in the organization. The incumbent will perform financial analyses and reviews, and create and maintain financial dashboards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a detailed monthly financial analysis, including advanced financial modeling, monitoring of sales results, and provide insight on root causes of any underlying issues;
  • Conduct detailed analyses of main general ledger accounts on a monthly basis;
  • Work with the team on financial forecasts, cash forecasting, profitability analysis and any other analysis required in our growing business;
  • Assist with several areas of the period and year end close process, such as general ledger account reconciliations and posting of journal entries,
  • Work with the Director of Finance to ensure all necessary month-end procedures and analysis have been conducted on a timely basis;
  • Provide support for automation and application of new initiatives;
  • Implement and analyze various performance indicators and take the necessary measures with the managers concerned;
  • Provide support in the preparation of budgets and financial projections;
  • Work with the Team leaders to analyze monthly financial results and provide analytics to determined the accuracy and integrity of financial information and communicate findings effectively;
  • Maximize use of technology to ensure process simplification and improvement;
  • Participate in other projects as necessary.


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
  • A professional accounting or finance designation is an asset.

Experience

  • Financial analysis: Minimum 3 years (required);
  • Strong knowledge of excel required;
  • Experience working in a family-owned business a plus;
  • Proficiency with the Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
