Payroll Benefits Specialist

If you're ready for a new challenge, Crestline is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Payroll and Benefits Administrator, you will:
- Support with the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll
- Input new hire data, enter special pays, and update all relevant information pertaining to the pay period, including adjustments to wages, benefit premiums, and other employee deductions or earnings
- Create ROE’s upon requested leaves/terminations
- Prepare and submit required post payroll reports and documentation
- Assist with Year End payroll tasks
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, and resolve any payroll discrepancies or concerns
- Administer employee benefits plans
- Ensure benefits enrollment and changes are processed accurately
- Provide employee direction and guidance with respect to Crestline’s benefits package and address any inquiries
- Coordinate and manage Short Term and Long Term Disability claims
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
As the Payroll and Benefits Administrator, you will bring:
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience and proficiency in using a payroll software system
- Experience with Dayforce (formerly Ceridian) is an asset
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, in particular, Microsoft Excel
- Experience with data entry, reporting and analytics
- Knowledge of various employee benefits programs is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a deadline driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks accurately
- Basic knowledge and understanding of accounting principles is considered an asset
