About the Role

As CFO, you will be at the heart of the company’s financial strategy and decision-making processes. Acting as the financial right-hand to the President, you will provide strategic guidance, manage the company’s financial health, and play a crucial role in supporting its long-term vision. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will collaborate with the executive team to drive growth, optimize operations, and scale the business.


What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s entrepreneurial vision, ensuring a sustainable and profitable growth trajectory.
  • Trusted Partnership: Work closely with the President as their financial right-hand, providing insights to navigate opportunities, manage risks, and shape the company’s strategic direction.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling, providing clear insights to guide executive decisions.
  • Treasury & Capital Management: Optimize cash flow, oversee funding strategies, and evaluate capital allocation to support growth initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence: Build and refine scalable financial systems, processes, and controls to support efficiency and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Act as a key liaison with external partners, including investors, banks, and other financial institutions, fostering relationships that drive business success.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor the finance team, creating a collaborative and high-performing environment that supports the company’s vision.
  • Path to Partnership: Demonstrate leadership and strategic impact to secure an opportunity to become a business partner, sharing in the company’s long-term success.


Qualifications:

  • CPA, CFA or MBA designation required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership, preferably in SME or entrepreneurial settings.
  • Expertise in real estate financing and development.
  • Expertise in financial planning, cash flow management, and process optimization.
  • Proven experience in high-growth environments or industries such as real estate, investment, or entrepreneurial ventures.
  • Familiarity with financial tools and systems; experience with ERP implementation is an asset.
  • Bilingual in French and English (required).

À propos du rôle

En tant que CFO, vous serez au centre de la stratégie financière et des processus de prise de décision de l’entreprise. Véritable bras droit financier du Président, vous apporterez des conseils stratégiques, assurerez la santé financière de l’entreprise et contribuerez activement à la réalisation de sa vision à long terme. Ce poste de leadership pratique exige une collaboration étroite avec l’équipe de direction pour stimuler la croissance, optimiser les opérations et accompagner le développement de l’entreprise.


Vos responsabilités

  • Leadership stratégique : Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies financières alignées sur la vision entrepreneuriale de l’entreprise, assurant une croissance durable et rentable.
  • Partenariat de confiance : Collaborer étroitement avec le Président pour naviguer les opportunités, gérer les risques et orienter la stratégie globale.
  • Planification et analyse financière : Superviser la budgétisation, les prévisions et la modélisation financière à long terme, tout en fournissant des analyses claires pour guider les décisions.
  • Gestion de trésorerie et du capital : Optimiser la gestion des flux de trésorerie, diriger les stratégies de financement et allouer efficacement les ressources pour soutenir les initiatives de croissance.
  • Excellence opérationnelle : Mettre en place et perfectionner des systèmes financiers, processus et contrôles adaptés à la croissance de l’entreprise.
  • Relations avec les parties prenantes : Agir en tant qu’interlocuteur clé auprès des partenaires externes, notamment les investisseurs, les banques et autres institutions financières, pour soutenir les objectifs de l’entreprise.
  • Développement de l’équipe : Diriger et encadrer l’équipe financière, en favorisant un environnement collaboratif et performant.


Profil recherché

  • CPA, CFA ou MBA requis.
  • 10+ ans d’expérience progressive en leadership financier, idéalement dans des PME ou des environnements entrepreneuriaux.
  • Connaissance approfondie du financement et du développement immobilier.
  • Expertise en planification financière, gestion des flux de trésorerie et optimisation des processus.
  • Expérience dans l’immobilier, l’investissement ou d’autres industries entrepreneuriales.
  • Familiarité avec les systèmes ERP et les outils financiers; une expérience en mise en œuvre d’ERP est un atout.
  • Bilinguisme en français et en anglais requis.
