digital transformation, the Client aims to modernize its operations by integrating advanced
ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and website platforms, along with exploring the use of AI-driven
solutions to improve efficiency and innovation across the organization.
Role Description:
The Client seeks a VP of Technology and Innovation to drive its digital transformation and
technological vision. This role is essential in modernizing the company’s legacy CRM and
ERP systems, establishing a robust e-commerce platform, advancing website functionality,
and implementing 3D visualization. The candidate will champion an innovative, strategic
approach to identifying and integrating new technologies that align with the company’s
roadmap. Strong leadership, hands-on expertise in ERP and CRM, and a forward-thinking
approach to technology adoption are essential for success.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Execute a Strategic Technology Vision:
- Establish and implement a transformative technology vision that enhances the
company’s operational efficiency, market positioning, and long-term growth.
2. Lead ERP, CRM, and E-Commerce Platform Upgrades:
- Oversee the modernization of ERP, CRM, and e-commerce systems for seamless
interoperability, ensuring the technical foundation supports scalable growth.
3. Website Design and 3D Visualization:
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of the company’s website, focusing on
user experience and integrating 3D visualization tools to enhance customer
engagement.
4. Ideation and Technology Integration:
- Continuously explore and evaluate emerging technologies, assessing their impact
and integration potential for the company’s roadmap. Act as a visionary, bringing
innovative ideas to align new technologies with business goals.
5. Foster a Culture of Innovation:
- Promote a collaborative, forward-thinking environment across departments,
encouraging ideation and strategic technology discussions that align with business
goals.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology team that supports the
company’s values and objectives, empowering them to drive innovation.
7. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Strategically manage vendor partnerships and stakeholder relationships to secure
optimal technological solutions and services.
8. Strategic IT and Infrastructure Planning:
- Oversee comprehensive IT planning and infrastructure management, ensuring
systems and applications meet current and future organizational needs.
Qualifications:
1. Technical Expertise Across Key Systems:
- ERP and CRM Experience: Proven track record in ERP and CRM system
implementation, with comprehensive knowledge of selecting, executing, and
customizing these platforms.
- E-commerce and Website Management: Demonstrated experience in e-commerce
and website design, with a focus on user experience and seamless integration
across platforms.
- 3D Visualization: Familiarity with 3D visualization tools and integration into
customer-facing systems to enhance product representation.
2. Strategic and Innovative Technology Leadership:
- Ideation and Innovation: Ability to identify opportunities in both existing and
emerging technologies, understanding their potential impact and integrating them
into the company’s roadmap.
- Alignment with Business Goals: A strong capability to align digital transformation
initiatives with the Client’s long-term business objectives, enhancing scalability,
efficiency, and competitiveness.
3. Advanced Knowledge of AI and Emerging Technologies:
- Experience with AI and digital transformation technologies, with a capacity to identify
and apply solutions that support operational efficiency and business growth.
4. Strong Leadership and Project Management Skills:
- Leadership of Cross-Functional Teams: Demonstrated experience leading
cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Collaborative Approach: Strong ability to work closely with executives and other
departments, aligning technology initiatives with business needs.
5. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Abilities:
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a
strategic approach to technical challenges and the adaptability to respond to new
opportunities.
6. Focus on Tailored, In-House Solutions:
- In-House Development Preference: A bias for developing solutions in-house to
align closely with the Client’s specific needs, minimizing external dependencies.
- Cost Efficiency: A practical approach to delivering high-quality solutions that are
both cost-effective and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
7. Effective Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Clear and Persuasive Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical
concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proficiency in managing stakeholder expectations and
engaging all parties throughout the transformation journey.
8. Education and Experience:
- Educational Background: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or
a related field, ideally with additional expertise in business, finance, or operations.
- Experience: A minimum of 10+ years in technology leadership roles, preferably
within manufacturing or related industries, with a demonstrated focus on strategic,
innovative technology integration.
