ABOUT THE POSITION

This position is focused on providing our clients with innovative technical solutions, focusing on strategic client engagement and project leadership.

You will play a critical role as an in-house consultant, advisor, and technical architect, providing innovative solutions to meet clients' business needs and focusing on strategic client engagement and project leadership. Your expertise will be critical in diagnosing and resolving technical challenges, providing strategic insights, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives. You will collaborate with a team to deliver cost-effective and efficient IT solutions.

You will serve as the client's technology ambassador, transforming ideas into effective technological implementations. As the face of technology, you will guide clients in making strategic investments for their future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technology Strategy and Management:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal sales and technical teams to craft flexible and resilient architecture solutions
  • Develop and collaborate on platform roadmaps and strategies around business missions, products, and complex architectures
  • Help organizations understand and implement best practices around advanced cloud solutions
  • Ensure all systems adhere to quality standards and comply with established procedures

Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention
  • Oversee client engagement, mitigating risks, and ensuring project and ticket performance
  • Lead and coach staff working on assigned client projects and tickets
  • Proactively identify and address client needs and concerns
  • Present monthly or quarterly status reports
  • Draft and present quotes and statements of work

Program and Project Leadership:

  • Lead the execution of strategic initiatives to achieve business and financial goals
  • Lead the execution of strategic cloud migration initiatives and other IT transformation projects
  • Manage resources effectively to deliver on client objectives
  • Drive discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of client organizations
  • Develop technical documentation and progress reports

Technical Architecture and Solution Design:

  • Assess organizational needs and identify system specifications
  • Plan and design technology architectures, clearly communicating these solutions to clients
  • Recommend optimal products and systems, convey requirements to software vendors, and provide guidance through the deployment process
  • Supervise the development and deployment of IT solutions, ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise

Risk Management and Cost Optimization:

  • Identify and manage risks associated with client environments and projects
  • Optimize costs while delivering secure, time-saving solutions

Innovation and Technology Research:

  • Research emerging technologies, conduct proof of concepts, and recommend their integration into future product architectures
  • Present cloud computing concepts and architectures to diverse audiences

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bilingual (French/English) preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Consulting/Management
  • Degree or Postgraduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant subjects
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect or IT Manager or Director or Technology solutions designer and implementer
  • Experience in cloud computing and cloud technologies
  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Azure Platform
  • Hands-on experience in supporting software development and system administration
  • Expertise in strategic IT solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of modern cloud systems and networking systems
  • Familiarity with programming languages and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and databases like SQL
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and anticipation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Thorough knowledge of quality standards, legislation, and best practices
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into functional architecture
  • Experience with ITIL, TOGAF, or similar frameworks is a plus
