Industrial Electrician

Atlas Consulting has teamed up with an international manufacturer in Mississauga to recruit for a 442a (or 309a) Industrial Electrician opportunity. Dual ticketed Millwrights are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $43.51-$45.39 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

We’re searching for certified electricians for a rotating afternoon and night shift role, that will likely become steady after probation. The initial training will be on the day shift, and eventually the electrician will assume the role of the primary electrical expert on the afternoon and/or night shift. This is a direct-hire, permanent position, with a unionized company + benefits. Under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager & Lead Hand, the electrician would be involved with reactive maintenance tasks on the production lines, machine repairs, and PMs.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be a certified Electrician (dual ticketed 433a Industrial Millwright is an asset).
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair production equipment in a factory setting.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • The individual must have their own complete set of tools.
  • Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience, up to 600v.
  • Ability to design, build, and install electrical panels.
  • Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.

We are specifically interested in hiring 442a OR 309a Electricians. Proof of certification will be required prior to hiring.
