Nous recrutons actuellement un/une aide générale à temps plein (permanent) pour travailler dans notre cuisine située sur le site de l'aéroport de Dorval. Ce poste est représenté par un syndicat et est couvert par une convention collective.

*Posséder sa propre voiture est fortement recommandé car l'horaire d'autobus est limité.

*Vous devez être disponible pour travailler les jours fériés et les fins de semaine - vendredi, samedi et dimanche* (opération 24 heures).

*Doit être capable de travailler dans un environnement FROID.

We are now hiring for the position of Full time (Permanent) General Help to work in our flight kitchen located on the grounds of Dorval Airport. This position is represented by a labor Union and is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

*Owning your own car is highly recommended as there is a limited bus schedule

*Must be available to work holidays/weekends - Friday, Saturday, Sunday* (24hr operation)

*Must be able to work in COLD environment*

Résumé du travail :

  • Assembler les repas des compagnies aériennes contenant des aliments et des articles liés à l'alimentation.
  • Créer des " plateaux " en fonction d'une norme prédéterminée.
  • Peler, hacher, couper et trancher les aliments, y compris la viande, poulet, les fruits de mer, les légumes, les fruits et d'autres produits alimentaires.
  • Disposer les aliments pour le service
  • Emballer les aliments ou les fournitures
  • Soulever ou transporter des objets, effectuer des mouvements répétitifs ou travailler dans des entrepôts frigorifiques
  • Trier et placer des matériaux ou des articles sur des supports, des étagères ou dans des bacs selon les normes de l'organisation
  • Charger manuellement divers articles de confiserie pour les distribuer aux passagers pendant le service en vol.

Job Summary:

  • Assemble airline meals containing food and food related items
  • Create “trays” based upon a predetermined standard
  • Peel, chop, cut and slice food items including meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, fruits and other food items
  • Arrange food for serving
  • Package food or supplies
  • Lift or carry objects, perform repetitive motions, or work in cold storage areas
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Manually load various confectionery items for passenger dispersal during inflight service

Exigences environnementales :

  • Sera exposé à des changements de température extrêmes et au bruit
  • Soumis à des températures froides (allant de +10 degrés Celsius à 0 degré Celsius ou moins)
  • Soumis à des températures chaudes
  • Doit pouvoir soulever, pousser, tirer et déplacer des produits, de l'équipement et des fournitures jusqu'à cinquante (50) livres.
  • Se tenir régulièrement debout, se pencher, soulever et se déplacer par intermittence pendant les quarts de travail.

Environmental Requirements:

  • Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
  • Subject to cold temperatures (ranging from +10 degrees Celsius to at or below 0-degrees Celsius)
  • Subject to hot temperatures
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts

Qualifications
