Our client, a recognized leader in ship repair, is currently seeking an External Sales Representative for their industrial sector. Your mission will be to develop new business opportunities in the industrial, heavy, and mining sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies to effectively reach the targeted clientele.
  • Identify potential clients and market opportunities.
  • Analyze client needs and establish a trusting relationship with them.
  • Develop and maintain new clients and business partnerships.
  • Prepare quotes and pricing grids in collaboration with various internal stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competition.
  • Work closely with the operations departments to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development.
  • Education in metallurgical engineering, industrial engineering, sales, or other relevant fields.
  • Good knowledge of the industrial sector.
  • Bilingualism in spoken and written French and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Results-oriented.
  • Strong interest in solicitation and prospecting.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility, empathy, and diplomacy.

Salary: Up to $105,000 depending on experience + bonus.
