Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m.


Reporting to the Manager Fulfilment, this role will support the Everest Toys fulfilment operations in the Toys R Us Distribution Centre. The Distribution Centre Administrator will perform various administrative duties in the Receiving department.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs various administrative duties as required for daily operations and be able to receive items using a Reach Truck.
  • Process keyrecs and handles a high volume of data entry maintaining accuracy at all times.
  • Research product held in Trouble area and partner with the Department Manager to resolve any problems.
  • Print and burst transfer and receiver labels
  • Produce and maintain administrative reports as determined by DC management
  • Answering phone calls and liaising with Carriers and vendors to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Schedule appointments with transport companies for receipt of merchandise
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure flow of communication
  • Maintain and file records for drivers, dispatch, etc.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to both internal as well as external customers.
  • Accurately receives purchase orders
  • Putaway stock using RF technology
  • Provides excellent customer service and responds to inquiries within set timeframes from the Purchasing team
  • Escalates urgent requests as needed to the DC Manager
  • Performs other administrative duties and projects as assigned
  • Comply with Toys”R”Us Health and Safety policies, procedures and standards and with the OHSA.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, based on the needs of the business.


Qualifications:

  • 1 – 2 years of administrative experience in a distribution centre / warehouse environment preferred with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Must have previous experience and / or hold a valid Reach Truck license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Sharepoint and MS Teams)
  • Proficient in using RF technology
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organization, planning, and communication skill
  • Acts with a sense of urgency and self-direction within established guidelines
  • Ability to support multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
  • Must be able to cross train between all areas of the DC
  • Must have high initiative, integrity and dependability to function effectively as a team player.
