Business Development Manager Opportunity
DGA Careers, the preeminent insurance recruiting firm, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its growing team. The main objective of this position will be to identify and acquire highly selective clients.
We are a specialized executive search and recruitment agency within the fields of insurance and risk management. Our clientele are major publicly traded and private insurance entities.
The key objective of the Business Development Manager is to grow our clientele in focused target markets that the company is best positioned to serve.

The ideal person for this role is somebody who has experience in selling in to the Insurance Industry and has an outgoing and positive personality. We would like to see someone who is a team player that will collaborate with the team to ensure the best outcome for the office. Ideally you are able to create long lasting relationships with both potential clients while having the passion to delivery high standards of service. We want to see somebody that will take pride in their job and who wants to build a successful career with DGA.

Job Description:
- Identify and acquire new clients among select, outstanding employers in the Insurance industry;
- Develop a keen understanding of the needs of clients in insurance industry niches;
- Assist in negotiation of contracts with new clients;
- Network with industry professionals to establish relationships;
- Recommend and develop marketing strategies to attract new clients;
- Maintain an understanding of the insurance industry, key players, and general market trends;
- Advise clients on strategies to attract the most qualified employees
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- College diploma, university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in a sales role in the insurance and/or recruitment industries.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Proven success in relationship building and networking effectively.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Goal oriented and team player.
- Fearlessness towards approaching key decision makers.
Compensation: We offer a base salary and benefits with additional incentive compensation.
