The Communications and Design Coordinator is responsible for crafting and designing engaging content across print and multimedia platforms, targeting internal audiences to promote and support organizational initiatives and activities. Collaborating closely with our client's Human Resources department and other teams, this role helps shape communication strategies across the organization. Additionally, the position plays a key role in enhancing the company’s Talent Brand across online platforms and other communication channels, supporting talent attraction efforts.


The position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote flexibility with in-person collaboration, typically requiring 2 on-site days per week with some flexibility. On-site days may occasionally be more than 2 per week depending on business need.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and execute internal communications initiatives from start to finish.
  • Contribute to achieving Talent Brand performance metrics using tools such as Glassdoor and the company’s communication platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of internal communication strategies.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, internal campaigns (e.g., fundraising drives, program launches), and events (e.g., Town Halls).


Requirements:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and Glassdoor is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong writing and design abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
  • Expertise in creating visually appealing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere is considered an asset.
